Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Forge at forgeidentity.ai, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Forge. These terms apply to all users including free trial and paid subscribers.

2. The Service

Forge is an AI-powered personal identity coaching and journaling application. We provide:

Daily AI-coached journaling
Identity profiling and gap analysis
Progress tracking and pattern recognition
Weekly AI coaching assessments
Proactive push notifications and coaching messages

Forge is a personal development tool. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, or medical advice.

3. Accounts

You must be 13 or older to use Forge.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may not share your account or use another person's account.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Free Trial & Subscriptions

Free trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start.
Subscription: After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed at forgeidentity.ai/pricing.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of your paid period. No partial refunds for unused time.
Refunds: If you experience a technical failure that prevents you from using the service, contact support@forgeidentity.ai within 7 days for a review.

5. Your Content

You own your journal entries and identity data. We do not claim any ownership over your content.
You grant Forge a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service (generate coaching responses, store entries, build your memory).
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

Use Forge to harass, threaten, or harm others
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or access our systems in unauthorized ways
Share your account credentials with others
Use Forge for any illegal purpose
Attempt to circumvent subscription payments

7. Disclaimer

Forge is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of AI coaching responses, or specific outcomes from using the service. AI coaching is not professional therapy, medical, legal, or financial advice. Results vary by individual.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge's liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
